On September 15, 2026, The McDonough Firefighters Foundation will host the 4th Annual Axes & Irons Charity Golf Tournament at Georgia National Country Club in McDonough. We expect this event to attract numerous golfers, government officials, local media and businesses. We look forward to hosting another great day of golf. There will be a hole-in-one prize, contest for longest drive and closest to the pin, and raffles with excellent prizes. The goal of the event is to raise funds for the foundation, which supports public safety officials who have been catastrophically injured in the line of duty and the families of public safety officials who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
