Our signature scholarship fundraising event, the Josie K. Claiborne (“JKC”) Golf Tournament, is celebrating its 30th year and will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, at WildeWood Golf Course in Columbia, SC. The golf tournament was named in memory of one of our founding members, Josie Knowlin Claiborne. Josie was the chapter’s first president and a member of AABE’s National Board of Directors for several years. She practiced law and worked as a policy analyst on domestic and international energy issues. It is with the passion that she served, that we strive to raise money for AABE Scholars to pursue their dreams.
