The Legends of the LPGA is the official senior tour of the LPGA providing competitive opportunities for LPGA Tour professionals and eligible amateurs, age 45 and over. The tour was founded in 2000 by 25 veteran LPGA Tour professionals with the goal of continuing to showcase the talents of some of the greatest women golfers of all time. Bridgemill Golf course in Canton, GA will host the 2nd Annula Legends of the LPGA Atlanta Classic.The Atlanta Classic charity benefits the David Rubenstein Pancreatic Cancer Research Center at Sloan Kettering. Last year we dontated over $10,000 to pancreactic cancer research. A portion of the proceeds for the charity also go into a fund in honor of Ed Liebman, who battled pancreatic cancer. This award goes to high school seniors and is the Ed Liebman Scholarship Award.
