Every year, the Kamiakin Athletic Booster Club hosts a golf tournament at Canyon Lakes Golf Course, where we bring together our school’s alumni, parents, local businesses and community. Our annual golf tournament is a major source of funding for our student athletes, and helps to support all the athletic activities at the high school, which include:
- Funding academic scholarships each year for graduating Kamiakin athletes. Because of the success of our tournament, we were able to expand our scholarship offerings.
- Assisting our sport programs on supplemental athletic equipment purchases like replacing uniforms, leader boards, shade canopies, facility rental costs
- Assistance with post-season expenses for all sports teams including paying for transportation/bussing, meals and student rooter buses
- Supplementing student ticket admission for higher-cost post-season events, which Kamiakin has been proud to achieve again and again!
- Gifting each athlete with a gift card at their signing day, recognizing their achievement to play collegiately
