The Lars Jensen Golf Outing is our annual major fundraising event. The funds generated are used by the SanFranciscoRTC to support their efforts in promoting wrestling in the Bay Area and specifically at San Francisco State University. The funds will help offset the operating costs of the San Francisco Wrestling Club and to help fund scholarships and coaches stipends for wrestlers at SFSU. The wrestling team is the only sports team at SFSU to have won a National Championship - 1997 Div II. The Golf Outing has existed since XXXX and in addition to the fundraising efforts allows alumni and the current wrestling community to maintain close ties forged during their years of competing for SFSU.
